From the North (A6)
After passing through Clapham on the A6 you come to a roundabout (just passed a Sainsbury store on the right) on the outskirts of Bedford where you cross straight over into Clapham Road. Proceed for 0.5 mile (1km) and just before a garage on the left, turn left into Clarendon Street which takes you direct to the school fields.
From the West and South (M1)
Leave the M1 at junction 14 and approach Bedford on the A422 which joins with the A428 at Bromham. Shortly after passing over a railway bridge turn left at the roundabout on to the A6. At the next roundabout, 1 mile ahead (1.5km), turn right into Clapham Road. After 0.5 mile (1km), just before a garage on the left, turn left into Clarendon Street which takes you direct to the school fields.
From the East and South (A1)
Leave on the A421 and follow signs for Bedford, passing Bedford RUFC on Goldington Road before you enter the town one-way system where you take the right hand lane. This becomes Tavistock Street and Clapham Road. As there is no right hand turn into Clarendon Street, continue to the Sainsbury’s roundabout and return along Clapham Road, turning left into Clarendon Street which takes you direct to the school fields.
