From September 2028, Uppingham will have two schools in Egypt - Uppingham Cairo and Uppingham New Cairo.
With our trusted and ambitious partners New Era Education, these schools bring a defining educational vision to Egypt.
Uppingham Cairo
Uppingham Cario opened in September 2024 as the first overseas school in the Uppingham Group of Schools.
Overseen by Uppingham Cairo's Headmistress Mrs Emma Webb, the K-12 co-educational school offers an academic curriculum that encourages exploration, critical analysis, calculated risk-taking, communication and teamwork. ,The School boasts state-of-the-art teaching and sports facilities but what makes it special are the fantastic academic staff utilising the philosophy and standards which are so recognisable at Uppingham UK. And to make the educational offering even more special the School has partnerships with Chelsea FC, the NBA, the Raf Nadal Tennis Academy and much more.
Uppingham Cairo is based on a 12-acre campus in New Giza, west of Cairo, and overlooks the magnificent Great Pyramids of Giza. In September 2026 more than 350 children will be attending the School.
Uppingham New Cairo
Scheduled to open in 2027, Uppingham New Cairo sees the expansion of an Uppingham education to the east side of the city, building on the success of our first Egyptian campus in New Giza.
The purpose-built campus spans over 60,000 square metres and is designed to support both academic achievement and personal growth. Advanced classrooms, creativity labs, sports facilities, and boarding options.
We look forward to sharing more of Uppingham New Cairo's development as the project progresses.
