In September 2026, the Uppingham Group of Schools will be expanding into Asia, with the first of two exciting campuses opening in Vietnam.

Uppingham Hung Yen

Uppingham Hung Yen, in the prestigious province of Hung Yen close to Hanoi, will be Uppingham's first campus to open in Vietnam, welcoming pupils from September 2026.

Situated on a 4.7-hectare site in the heart of Ecopark, the campus will featureworld-class facilities, including a sports complex, performing arts spaces, a football field, and a modern library.

Overseen by founding Headmistress Ms Kirsty J Lowery, the K-12 school will offer the UK national curriculum, including GCSE and A level programmes.

The campus layout prioritises both functionality and inspiration. A covered drop-off area ensures safe and convenient access, while The Great Hall will serve as a central hub for assemblies, performances, exhibitions, and community events. Early years classrooms are designed to open directly onto landscaped outdoor play areas, encouraging a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor learning that fosters curiosity and creativity.

The project is being overseen by Broadway & Malyan, a highly respected UK and global architectural firm. The design vision emphasises a nurturing environment that promotes creativity, connection, and engagement with nature.

Uppingham Dong Nai

Uppingham's second campus in Vietnam will be in Dong Nai, close to Ho Chi Minh City, and we will share more information about its development later in the year.
