Uppingham has won the Talk Education Award for Innovation in Education in the Performing and Creative Arts category.
Talk Education describes its awards as recognising schools that are “forging boldly ahead with new, revolutionary ideas which are changing the face of independent education.” The Performing and Creative Arts category celebrates innovation across disciplines including music, art, drama, dance, photography and design, acknowledging schools that inspire creativity and nurture artistic talent.
We are delighted that Talk Education has recognised the excellence, ambition and innovation that define the performing and creative arts at Uppingham. Creativity has long been at the heart of an Uppingham education, supported by outstanding teaching, exceptional facilities and a culture that encourages pupils to explore and develop their talents.
This award is a wonderful endorsement of the dedication of our staff and the enthusiasm of our pupils, and reflects our continuing commitment to pushing boundaries, embracing new ideas and ensuring that the creative arts remain a vibrant and integral part of school life.
