On Friday 1 July, the whole school community joined together for the first in-person Speech Day event in three years.

The event followed an eventful final week of term:

  • The 1st XI cricket team played the Old Uppinghamian Rovers on the Middle, winning the match by six wickets.
  • The U14 cricketers enjoyed their own victory, with Uppingham winning the Leicestershire County Championship for the first time. The team will go on to represent Leicestershire in the National Counties Cup next year.
  • Sports Day returned to Uppingham on Thursday 30 June - it was a brilliant afternoon of sport, team work, camaraderie and competitive spirit.
  • The final day of term began with the Leavers' Service in Chapel, as we bid farewell to the 2022 Leavers as they begin their next chapter

The school community then came together in the marquee for the main event, which offered the perfect opportunity for the whole school community to come together and celebrate everything that has been achieved this year.

We wish all of our pupils a wonderful summer holiday, and we look forward to welcoming you back in September.
